This Platform and services of the Companyarefor information sharing purpose where Users can submit, upload, or publish their information which can be visible publicly.
A Visitor to the platform, whether or not he/she has made any payment for availing access and/or services on the Platform, including the general browsers of the Platform, whether registered or not, are hereinafter referred to as "User/Users".
It is generally understood that if a person creates a profile for another person on the Platform, the person creating the profile has obtained implicit consent from the person on whose behalf he/she is acting for the act of creating such profile to do so. However, the person whose profile is created retains the right to request the deletion of his/her profile at any time by making request in writing to the company. Please note that the Website/Platform does not encourage the creation of profiles without explicit consent and reserves the right to refuse access to the Platform.
Acceptance of Terms
By registering on or using this Platform, Users agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If users do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform.
By using the Platform, you consent to submit your personally identifiable information including personal data such as your financial data, Identity proofs, employment details, if submitted, etc to collect, process, display and use the said information to provide the Service. You also give your consent to check the authenticity of the said details through a third-party tool/subcontractor including any previous criminal cases at the discretion of the Company to protect the interest of the other members on the platform. If you have any objection in collecting/processing your data, we advise you not to register with our us.
Nature of Services
The platform acts solely as an information sharing platform. It does not, in any manner, guarantee or assure marriage, compatibility, or the success of any match or alliance formed through the Platform.
MeriPasand.co.in (“Platform”) is an online platform that facilitates User registration for matrimonial events and enables Users to view profiles of other registered members for the exclusive purpose of exploring lawful matrimonial alliances, if any.
Eligibility To register or use the Platform, you confirm that:
By registering on or using the Platform, you hereby represent and warrant that:
1. Legal Age & Competence:
User are legally competent to enter into a valid contract and meet the minimum legal age for marriage as prescribed under the laws of India, i.e., 18 years or above for females and 21 years or above for males.
2. Soundness of Mind & Legal Capacity:
User are of sound mind and are not disqualified or prohibited under any applicable law from entering into a lawful marriage.
3. Purpose of Registration:
User are registering and using the Platform solely for the bona fide purpose of seeking a matrimonial alliance and not for any commercial, fraudulent, or non-matrimonial purpose.
User Account & Responsibilities
a) Users shall provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information at the time of registration and throughout the use of the Platform. Submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information shall constitute a breach of these Terms.
b) Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their login credentials, including their username, password, and any other account-related information. Any access or activity carried out through a user's account shall be presumed to have been authorized by the account holder.
c) The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to a user’s account.
d) The Platform reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently remove any account that contains false, misleading, inappropriate, or offensive content, or is found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions or applicable law.
Profile Shortlisting & Communication
a) Registered users are permitted to view and shortlist profiles of other members solely for the purpose of exploring lawful matrimonial alliances.
b) Any communication initiated through the Platform shall be conducted strictly for matrimonial discussions and in a respectful, lawful, and dignified manner.
c) The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate user accounts and initiate legal proceedings, where necessary, in the event of any misuse of the Platform, breach of this clause, or violation of the terms and conditions.
Event Participation
a) Participation in any event organized or facilitated through the Platform is entirely voluntary and applicable registration charges or fees, as determined by the Company.
b) MeriPasand.co.in functions solely as a facilitator and shall not be held liable for the conduct, behaviour, actions, or omissions of any participant during such events, whether online or offline.
c) All participants are required to adhere to event-specific terms, guidelines, and instructions issued by the Platform or event organizers. Users shall maintain decorum, act respectfully towards other participants, and refrain from any form of misconduct, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour.
d) The Company reserves the right to deny entry, remove participants from events, or take appropriate action against individuals who violate event rules or engage in disruptive, unlawful, or unethical conduct.
e)The platform follows a strict no-refund policy, users are advised to carefully review all information before making payment.
Prohibited Activities
Users expressly agree and undertake that they shall not, under any circumstances:
a) Use the Platform for purposes other than lawful matrimonial intentions, including but not limited to dating, friendship, casual relationships, or any activity that is illegal, immoral, or unauthorized.
b) Upload, publish, transmit, or display any content that is defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, abusive, harassing, offensive, or otherwise violates any applicable laws or the rights and dignity of any individual.
c) Impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent their identity, create or operate multiple or fake profiles, or provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information on the Platform.
d) Use any automated means, including but not limited to bots, scripts, crawlers, or data extraction tools, to access, collect, monitor, or copy any content, data, or information from the Platform without prior written consent from the Company.
Intellectual Property
a) All content available on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, design elements, event formats, and database structures, is the exclusive property of *the Company* or its licensors and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
b) Users are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, publishing, transmitting, displaying, selling, licensing, or otherwise exploiting any content or material from the Platform, in whole or in part, for any commercial or non-commercial purpose, without the prior written consent of the Company.
c) Any unauthorized use of the Platform's intellectual property shall constitute a violation of these Terms and may result in legal action, including but not limited to civil and/or criminal proceedings.
Limitation of Liability
a) The Platform operates solely as an information sharing platform. The Company does not verify, guarantee, or warrant the accuracy, authenticity, or completeness of any information, representations, or materials provided by users on the Platform.
b) The Company shall not be held responsible or liable for the conduct, actions, intentions, communications, or behaviour of any user, whether online or during any in-person interaction initiated through the Platform or Event.
c) In the event of cancellation of Event from our side, our liability shall be limited only to the refund of registration fees paid by the users (exclusive of taxes), and no other claims or compensation shall be entertained.
d) However, no refund shall be provided in the event of rescheduling of Events, if the event is conducted within a period of three months from the original date for which registration was done.
e) Under no circumstances shall MeriPasand.co.in, The Company, its owners, directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses or damages, including but not limited to emotional distress, financial loss, personal injury, data loss, or reputational harm, arising out of or in connection with the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon the Platform or any interactions between users.
Termination of Services
a) MeriPasand.co.in reserves the absolute right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any user account, with or without prior notice, at its sole discretion, in any of the following circumstances:
* Where the user is found to be in breach of these Terms & Conditions or any other policies of the Platform;
* Where the user has provided false, misleading, inaccurate, or fraudulent information during registration or at any stage of using the Platform;
* Where the user engages in any activity that is unlawful, unethical, harmful, abusive, or otherwise detrimental to the safety, reputation, or interests of other users or the Platform.
b) Upon such suspension or termination, the user’s access to the Platform and its services may be revoked immediately, and any data, profile information, or content associated with the account may be removed or restricted as deemed appropriate by the Company.
c) The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused to the user as a result of such suspension or termination.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or in connection with the use of the Platform or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in *Indore, Madhya Pradesh*, India.
